IN BRIEF: Angus Energy wins UK county council approval for well plans

Angus Energy PLC - oil and gas development company focused on UK assets - Says the Planning Committee of Surrey County Council has passed a resolution to approve its plans to abandon the Kimmeridge layer and re-perforate the Portland layer at well BRX4-Z.

Separately, Angus says the Joule Thomson skid could be delayed a week as a consequence of a potential delay in the delivery of an accessory. Says work of dry commissioning has begun, with the identification of key lines for initial hydrotesting and the development of 40 tests. Adds cable pull is expected over the next 5 working days and the ring main of pipework is 80% complete. Wet commissioning is expected to begin at or around May 18.

Current stock price: 1.35 pence, up 3.9% in London
