Henderson Far East Income Ltd - invests in the Asia Pacific region - Reports net asset value per share of 287.40 pence at February 28, down from 299.58p at August 31. Net assets at February 29 totals £435.6 million, down from £452.6 million at August 31.
Says its total NAV return performance was negative 0.1%, better than the FTSE World Asia Pacific ex Japan Index of negative 6.3%, but behind the MSCI AC Asia Pacific ex Japan High Dividend Yield Index of 3.1%. Henderson notes it does not have a formal benchmark but uses these indexes for reference. Company calls its outlook ‘encouraging’ and says its concentration is on value.
