Serica Energy PLC - gas producer in UK North Sea - BP Exploration Operating Co Ltd intends to sell up to 13.5 million shares in Serica, reflecting a 5.0% interest in the company.
The price per share will be determined through an accelerated bookbuilding process, over which Jefferies International Ltd will act as sole global coordinator.
Serica Energy will not gain any proceeds from the placing.
Current stock price: 393.00 pence, up 4.1% on Wednesday
