Gemfields Group Ltd - London-headquartered gemstones supplier - Chandana Venkata Suresh, director of operations for Africa, sells 3.5 million shares at an average R 3.25 apiece after exercising options. The sale is worth R 11.2 million before factoring in the purchase costs of the options. In April, the company said he exercised 783,100 share options at a price of R 2.97 and 2.7 million share options at a price of R 2.30.
The Gemfields director holds 95,600 shares, representing 0.01% of the company.
