Chaarat Gold Holdings Ltd - gold miner with operations in Armenia and assets in Kyrgyzstan - Closes Kapan underground mining area immediately, after a ‘fatal incident’ involving an employee of its contractor S&A Mining. Says it started an internal and external investigation into the incident. Notes that mining operations continue in all other working areas while work remains stopped in the one stope where the incident occurred. Expects mine production not to be affected.
