Maven Income & Growth VCT PLC - venture capital trust - Net asset value per share at February 28 stands at 44.34 pence, down from 44.41p at the same time the previous year. Total NAV return for the year ended February 28 is 146.25p per share, up from 144.32p a year prior. Net return on ordinary activities before tax was £3.0 million, up sharply from £898,000 the previous year. Gains on investments totalled £3.8 million, surging from £1.2 million a year prior. Proposes a final dividend of 1.25p per share.
‘This positive performance reflects the strength and resilience of the underlying portfolio, where many of the private company holdings have continued to make tangible commercial progress, which has resulted in uplifts to certain valuations,’ said Chair John Pocock.
