Science in Sport PLC on Thursday said Chief Financial Officer James Simpson will leave the company in September.
Simpson joined the London-based sports nutrition firm as CFO in September 2019.
Science in Sport said that he will leave the board and the company in September and will take up a CFO position in a privately held firm, which it didn't name.
‘The board would like to thank Simpson for his significant contribution to the growth of the business as CFO and wishes him well in his new role,’ it said.
The company has commenced the search process to find a successor.
Shares in Sport PLC were down 3.4% to 57.00 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
