ProVen VCT and ProVen Growth & Income VCT - London-based venture capital trusts - Proven VCT posts 2.5% annual net asset value per share hike to 76.7 pence in year ended February 28, from 74.8p. Proposes final dividend of 2.25p per share, up 13% from 2.0p. Pays special dividend of 1.5p due to profits made from partial disposal of software company Zoovu Inc. Total yearly payout is 5.25p, surging 50% from 3.5p.
ProVen Growth & Income NAV per share up 9.4% to 67.3p from 61.5p. Total payout jumps by 58% to 4.75p per share from 3.0p. Includes a 1.75p special dividend due to profits made on partial Zoovu disposal. ‘Additional inflationary pressures will be felt more broadly over the coming months,’ firms state.
