Spectra Systems Corp - Rhode Island, US-based authentication technology provider - Says Solaris BioSciences Holdings Ltd will soon begin marketing for a financing round after being assured by the UK HMRC it qualifies for relief under the Enterprise Investment Scheme. Spectra holds a 48% stake in Solaris.
Solaris has developed a proprietary optically based technology for the measurement, in medical clinics, hospital waiting rooms and home, of blood plasma viscosity with pin-prick volumes of blood, in order to detect viscosity changes which are related to inflammation stemming from infections and cancers.
