IN BRIEF: Kavango Resources ships drilling samples for testing

ALN

Kavango Resources PLC - London-based mineral explorer focused on Botswana - Completes hole DITDD005 - or target i1 -at Ditau Camp asset and moves the drill rig to hole DITDD006 - also known as Target i8 - after a completion of a Controlled Source Audio-Magnetotelluric ground geophysical survey and inversion model. The company says the CSAMT survey has provided additional bedrock resolution, resulting in a prioritisation of this drillhole on the i8 target.

Chief Executive Officer Ben Turney says: ‘Our recent CSAMT surveys illustrate perfectly how much progress Kavango has made. Our team has identified a possible intrusive body at i8 using CSAMT. This development has guided our exploration in real-time. We will now test the i8 Target by drilling hole DITDD006.’

First batch of samples has been cut and shipped for multi-element analyses, including some fire assays, to a certified laboratory in South Africa, the company says. Ditau is held in a 50/50 Joint Venture with Power Metal Resources PLC.
