Marks & Spencer Group PLC - London-based food and clothing retailer - Appoints Alex Freudmann as managing director of M&S Food. Freudmann will join M&S on November 1. He is currently managing director of the Australian liquor supermarket Dan Murphy's and will succeed Stuart Machin, who was recently promoted to chief executive.
‘Alex will bring a great deal of experience and passion to our business. He has worked in food retailing for nearly two decades and in all of his roles he's been a change-maker,’ CEO Stuart Machin says.
