Starcrest Education Ltd - developer and operator of education services in Europe - Non-Executive Chair John McLean resigns immediately, Starcrest says, providing no reason. Appoints non-executive directors Jasbeer Singh and David Lim as interim co-chairs and later will recruit a permanent replacement. Says in process of appointing advisers for potential reverse acquisition of several Fairview IB World Schools from Fairview International School (UK) Ltd.
Trading in Starcrest shares have been suspended since March, when the potential deal was first announced.
