CareTech Holdings PLC - Hertfordshire, England-based residential social care and education services - DBAY Advisors Ltd confirms it does not intend to make a firm offer for CareTech. This follows news earlier on Monday that CareTech accepted the £870.3 million takeover bid from Amalfi Bidco Ltd, for 750 pence a share. Amalfi is a consortium which includes CareTech founders Farouq and Haroon Sheikh, and THCP Advisory Ltd.
