Centamin PLC - Jersey-based operator of Sukari gold mine in Egypt - Notes high-grade mineralisations at Horus Deeps at its Sukari gold mine. Finds up to 136 grammes of gold per tonne there, while finding 215 grammes of gold per tonne at hole UGRSD3485 in Sukari's Bast zone.
‘An exploration programme has identified multiple shallow open pit gold satellite targets within the mining concession which have the potential to supplement Sukari mill feed,’ the firm explains. ‘The Pre-feasibility Study at Doropo progressed well with drilling focussed on both converting existing Inferred Resources to Indicated Resources and testing newly identified growth targets,’ says Chief Executive officer Martin Horgan.
