PayPoint PLC - Hertfordshire, England-based payment services provider - Will invest £3 million in Open Banking software-as-a-service start up OBConnect.
Alongside the investment, PayPoint will also sign a commercial partnership with OBConnect, strengthening the group's payment platform and expanding its range of digital services to support its clients.
‘We're delighted to be investing in OBConnect, which will further enhance our channel-agnostic payment platform for clients in multiple sectors. This investment will enable PayPoint to continue its diversification to digital and support our clients and their customers further with smart technology designed to improve their experience and reduce costs,’ said Chief Executive Nick Wiles.
