Maven Income & Growth VCT 5 PLC - London-based venture capital trust - Net asset value per share falls to 37.98 pence as at May 31 from 38.54p a year ago. Declares ‘enhanced’ interim dividend of 3.00p per share for financial year 2022 ending November 30. This is more than the 2.1p paid out for the whole of the 2021 financial year.
Says this dividend follows the realisation of the majority of its interest in Ideagen PLC, the largest holding in the company's AIM portfolio. ‘Since the company's launch, and after receipt of this latest interim dividend, 49.65p per share will have been distributed in tax-free dividends,’ it notes.
