IN BRIEF: Victoria Oil & Gas subsidiary sees quarterly oil sales drop

Victoria Oil & Gas - London-based oil and gas company - Says its wholly-owned subsidiary Gaz du Cameroun SA, focused on Cameroon, sold less oil but produced more gas in the second quarter.

Produces 5.6 million standard cubic feet per day in the quarter ended June 30, up 2% from 5.5 million a quarter ago. Gross oil sales drop to 4,243 barrels of oil per day from 4,691 in the first quarter.

‘Gaz du Cameroun achieved a third consecutive quarter of gas sales growth, with this growth being largely organic,’ explained Victoria Oil & Gas Chief Executive Roy Kelly.
