Carnival PLC - Miami, Florida-based cruise line - Closes underwritten public offering of 102.1 million shares at $9.95 each, raising about $1.00 billion.
Expects to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including repaying 2023 debt maturities.
Goldman Sachs acted as sole bookrunner and underwriter for the offering.
