Ironveld PLC - South Africa-focused exploration and development company - Shareholder Richard Jennings, director of Align Research Ltd issues letter to withdraw requisition for general meeting on Friday next week.
However, the meeting has already been convened by Ironveld's board, meaning it cannot be cancelled. The company still recommends that shareholders vote against the resolutions.
‘The board has reiterated that Jennings' interests did and do not align with those of the other shareholders, and the attempted withdrawal of the requisition is further proof of this. It is our strong opinion that Jennings has wasted management time and shareholder funds,’ Ironveld stated.
