Trian Investors 1 Ltd - offers exposure to investment activity of Trian Investors Management LLC - Shareholders at extraordinary general meeting held on Friday vote to remove Chair Chris Sherwell from the board and appoint Robert Legget as a director. Back in June, major shareholders Global Value Fund, Invesco, Janus Henderson Investors UK and Pelham Capital requisitioned the meeting to remove Sherwell, Simon Holden and Anita Rival as directors and and nominate two new ones, Legget and Miles Staude. Sherwell is voted out by 50.7%, while Legget is voted in by the same percentage. However, the resolutions to remove Holden and Rival get only 49.6% support, so they remain on the board. The resolution to add Staude also fails with only 49.6% support.
