James Cropper PLC - paper products manufacturer based in Cumbria, England - Promotes Steve Adams to chief executive officer with immediate effect after the resignation of Phil Wild. Says Adams is currently an executive director and managing director of the James Cropper Paper division, who joined the company in 2017. Prior to joining James Cropper, Adams worked at the American conglomerate company 3M Co, where he covered ‘display, traffic and vehicle safety, telecommunications, electronics and energy markets,’ the company notes.
Adams says: ‘Building on the strong foundations set in place by Phil Wild, I am excited at the prospect of capitalising on the unique and significant capabilities of our people and know-how to become a truly global market leader in our core technology areas.’
Phil Wild joined James Cropper as CEO in 2012.
