Foresight Solar Fund Ltd - Jersey-based solar-power investor - Net asset value as at March 31 rises to 107.3 pence from 68.9p the same date a year before. Over the year, fund invests in 11 new portfolio companies, and executes follow-on investment into existing portfolio firm.
Company attributes stronger performance to robust asset availability, rising power prices and increased short-term forward power prices.
‘The board continue to monitor the events unfolding in Ukraine and the impact on the ordinary shares portfolio while continuing to optimise the assets ahead of the proposed realisation and return of funds to ordinary shareholders,’ said Chair Ernie Richardson.
