Barclays PLC - London-based bank - To sell its remaining shareholding of 63 million shares in Johannesburg-based financial services firm Absa Group Ltd, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Barclays Principal Investments Ltd. Shares represent a 7.4% stake in Absa and are being offered to investors through an accelerated bookbuild placing. The final number of placing shares and the price per share will be agreed at the close of the bookbuild process.
