Wizz Air Holdings PLC - Budapest-based budget airline - Carries 4.96 million passengers in August, up 39% from 3.58 million the same month a year before, and also up from 4.76 million in July.
Capacity also rose 28% to 5.48 million seats from 4.28 million seats, allowing load factor to improve year-on-year to 90.5% from 83.6%. Load factor in July had been 89.7%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, Wizz Air carried 39.5 million passengers, more than doubling from 14.8 million the year before, with an 83.8% load factor, improved from 70.4%.
