Eqtec PLC - Cork, Ireland-based gasification company focused on turning waste into sustainable energy - On Thursday, says its wholly-owned subsidiary, Deeside WTV Ltd, and Logik Developments Ltd are in ‘advanced’ discussions with a third party for the sale of a 182,000 tonne waste reception plant, two megawatt digestion facility, and a 9.9 megawatt gasification technology facility in Deeside, Wales. Extends long stop date for share purchase agreement between Deeside and Logik to facilitate the transaction.
Eqtec adds it is in advanced discussion with Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd on heads of terms for the supply of gas and electricity to Toyota's Deeside Engine Plant from the project. Subsidiary also receives heads of terms for gas and power offtake agreement from TotalEnergies SE.
