Oakley Capital Investments Ltd - Investment vehicle - Notes Oakley Capital Fund V will invest £45 million in Milan, Italy-based price comparison platform Facile.it.
In June, Oakley Capital Fund III reached an agreement to sell its stake in Facile. Fund V will now acquire a minority stake in the business alongside Silver Lake.
Oakley Capital Investment is an investment vehicle that provides liquid access to private equity returns through investment in the Oakley funds, such as Oakley Capital Fund V.
‘The fresh investment from Fund V and Silver Lake will reinforce Facile's position as the clear leader in the Italian online price comparison market, whilst continuing to invest in and broaden Facile's product range. This will help to accelerate the company's strong growth trajectory across its core verticals, its recently launched growth verticals as well as future potential new product launches to strengthen the value proposition to both Italian consumers and partners,’ Oakley Capital says.
