Feedback shares up on £450,000 CDC pilot contract extension

ALN

Feedback PLC on Tuesday said it has won a 12-month contract to provide its community diagnostic centre solution to extend its current CDC pilot in Sussex to other GP practices.

Shares in the London-based medical imaging software company were up 10% at 0.64 pence each in London on Tuesday midday.

The contact, which covers the year to March 31, 2023, follows on from a memorandum of understanding to embark on a pilot scheme to provide CDC services with Sussex integrated care systems. This was signed in October 2021, alongside Queen Victoria Hospital.

Under the £450,000 agreement, Feedback will provide its CDC solution to facilitate an extension of the current CDC pilot in Sussex to further GP practices and to enable the adoption of further clinical pathways.

By the end of the contract, Queen Victoria Hospital expects to have concluded a formal procurement for the next phase of the CDC programme rollout, as is required by NHS procurement policies. Feedback said that it intends to submit a bid in the subsequent procurement phase.

Since October, The company added that the first live patients have gone through the CDC pilot.

The use of Feedback's product suite in the Sussex ICS is intended to be used as a blueprint model for future CDC digital infrastructure models across the UK, it added.

Chief Executive Tom Oakley said: ‘QVH and the broader Sussex team have been great partners in delivering this end-to-end clinical solution. This contract recognises the initial stage of our work together and enables us to proceed to a more formal working arrangement, pending a successful procurement exercise.’
