IN BRIEF: Kape Technologies's ExpressVPN launches Wi-Fi 6 router

ALN

Kape Technologies PLC - Isle of Man-based digital privacy and security business - Says its wholly owned brand ExpressVPN has launched its first hardware product, Aircove, a Wi-Fi 6 router with built-in virtual private network protection. Says users can enjoy holistic home security with VPN protection with Aircove, which was built and designed by the same security experts who delivered ExpressVPN's VPN software. Aircove enables ExpressVPN to deliver faster app updates, more reliable connections, and faster new feature rollouts by ‘providing greater control over software-hardware compatibility and optimisation’, Kape adds.

General Manager of Kape's Digital Privacy unit Dan Pomerantz says: ‘With an average Wi-Fi home network delivering connectivity to more than 25 devices and almost all IoT device traffic being unencrypted, this is a major challenge. Aircove will provide our customers with secure, flexible VPN-protected internet connections across every room, on every device, for every household member.’
