Live Co confirms date and performers for K.Flex concert in London

ALN

Live Co Group PLC on Monday confirmed November 20 as the date for its K.Flex concert at The O2 in London, and promised a showcase of seven ‘exhilarating’ performers familiar to K-pop fans.

Live Co is also set to run a festival at The O2 from September 22 to 24 in 2023 in a joint venture with its 50% owned subsidiary, K-Pop Europa. Both will earn revenue via ticket sales, streaming, and merchandise.

Steve Sayer, General Manager at The O2, said: ‘We're incredibly proud to not only be providing a UK home to this year's K.FLEX concert and next year's cross-campus festival in September 2023, but also to be hosting the very first UK performances for some of these chart-topping artists.’

The Surrey-based live events and entertainment company named the Korean boy band Winner as its headliner, in what is set to be the first UK and European performance for the Billboard World Album chart toppers.

Also on the set list were quartet AB6IX, who performed at K.Flex's inaugural festival; Pentagon, nominated for Best Korean Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2018; and newer groups Weeekly and Younite. Rookie group Billie is also due to perform following a successful debut into the K-pop scene in 2021.

Tickets will go on sale on October 7, 2022.

Live Company shares closed 5.6% higher at 3.22 pence each in London on Monday.
