Impax Environmental Markets PLC - London-based investment trust - Partners with Dublin, Ireland-based solar power developer BNRG Renewables Ltd to construct portfolios of solar energy projects. The initial focus on the US and Ireland.
In the US, the companies will work together on over 1 gigawatt portfolio of solar projects.
In Ireland, the partnership will progress BNRG's existing portfolio of over 600 megawatts of solar projects including 55 MW of projects that recently received 15-year government offtake tariffs in the Irish RESS 2 auction. Further, they will bring the RESS 2 portfolio into construction in the coming months.
