IN BRIEF: HSBC partially buys back six series of subordinated notes

HSBC Holdings PLC - Asia-focused lender - Announces results of tender offer for six outstanding series of subordinated notes due between 2023 and 2046.

HSBC buys back £164.6 million of £300.0 million in 6.5% notes due July 2023 and $120.4 million of $300.0 million in 7.65% notes due May 2025. The bank buys back £288.8 million of £350.0 million in 5.375% notes due November 2030 with a call date of November 4, 2025.

HSBC buys back £343.3 million of £500.0 million in 5.375% notes due August 2033, £154.6 million of GBP 225.0 million in 6.25% notes due January 2041, and £362.8 million of £600.0 million in 4.750% notes due March 2046.

Current stock price: 480.90 pence, up 0.1% on Tuesday
