ICG Enterprise Trust Plc said on Thursday it is investing in life and health insurance products company AmeriLife Group LLC.
The London-based investment company said it was investing $11.2 million in the Florida, US-based firm alongside funds advised by ICG Enterprise’s manager ICG PLC and private equity manager Thomas H. Lee Partners LP, also known as THL.
The investment figure relates to ICG Enterprise’s look-through position in the overall investment in AmeriLife and is stated before any closing adjustments.
AmeriLife develops, distributes and administers life and health insurance products, annuities and retirement planning solutions to senior citizens in the US. It partners with US-based insurance carriers to service a national distribution network of over 300,000 insurance agents and advisors.
Shares in ICG Enterprise were down 0.2% to 1,147.50 pence in London on Thursday afternoon.
