Investec PLC and Ltd - Sandton, Johannesburg-based financial services firm - Investec Ltd buys 1.6 million shares in Investec PLC at an average R 101.62 each, worth around R 161.0 million. Intends to treat the shares as if they were treasury shares in the consolidated annual financial statements of the Investec Group. Since October 3, the company has purchased 8.1 million shares at a cost of R 756.8 million.
