DP Eurasia considers divesting all Domino’s Pizza shops in Russia

ALN

DP Eurasia NV on Wednesday said it is considering exiting Russia.

DP Eurasia is the master franchisee for US brand owner Domino’s Pizza Inc in Russia, as well as in Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

‘DP Eurasia is evaluating its presence in Russia, the impact of sanctions and its continuing ability to serve its customers in Russia. Consequently, the company is considering various options which may include a divestment of its Russian operations. Whilst work on a potential transaction is ongoing, there can be no certainty as to the outcome,’ the company said.

DP Eurasia added that it will make a further announcement when appropriate.

DP Eurasia had 171 stores in Russia as at October 31.

DP Eurasia shares were untraded at 52.20 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.

Domino’s Pizza shares closed up 0.3% at $354.40 on Tuesday in New York and were unchanged in the after-hours session.
