IP Group PLC - Oxford, England-based intellectual property commercialisation company - Appoints Anita Kidgell as an independent non-executive director, effective from Wednesday. Kidgell is currently head of Corporate Strategy at GSK PLC. GSK is a London-based multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company. Says Kidgell will bring a combination of a scientific background together with strategic and communication experience in a listed company.
Chair Douglas Flint says: ‘We are delighted to welcome Anita to the board, where her experience in strategic development within the life sciences sector and in investor communication will add a fresh dimension to existing strengths on the board. Her involvement in working at the heart of one of life science’s leading listed companies will be invaluable to IP Group as we develop.’
