Alien Metals get ‘encouraging’ results at Elizabeth Hill in Australia

ALN

Alien Metals Ltd on Monday reported gold findings at the Elizabeth Hill silver project in Western Australia.

Alien Metals is a mineral exploration and development company with assets in Australia, Mexico and Greenland.

The company said it found the equivalent of 37.5 grammes of gold per tonne in silver and lead from 19.7 metres at hole 21EHDD003. At hole 22AMC001, it found the equivalent to 13.3 grammes of gold per tonne at 13 metres, while finding the equivalent to 8.2 grammes of gold per tonne at 52 metres at hole AMEHRC009.

Executive Chair Rod McIllree said: ‘Results from recent drilling as well as a bottom-up re-examination of Elizabeth Hill are highly encouraging. When these drill results are put in terms of nickel and gold equivalents what emerges is an insight into the potential value of this newly recognised broader mineralised system and the economic implications of such. Elizabeth Hill has just evolved into something much more serious certainly for the exploration team who through their hard work this significant discovery has been made.’

Alien Metals shares were 6.9% higher at 0.54 pence each in London on Monday morning.
