Zoo Digital shares jump as it lands contract with Hollywood producer

ALN

-Zoo Digital Group PLC on Tuesday said it is now operating as a key vendor for a major content producer in Hollywood, supporting their content localisation needs.

Zoo Digital is a London-based provider of cloud-based localisation and digital distribution services. Shares in the firm were up 13% at 185.00 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.

In addition to using the company as a vendor, the client will also use ZOOstudio to manage the localisation of content across its vendors.

ZOOstudio is an all-encompassing and vendor-agnostic platform, which is already in use at another major studio and global streaming service.

Zoo Digital didn’t provide financial details for the deal, adding that it couldn’t name the content creator for contractual reasons.

It said that while longer-term contractual arrangements have yet to be finalised, a number of ‘revenue-generating projects’ for this client are already underway.

‘We are delighted to be chosen to provide our services and technology to another high-profile streaming service. Our global ZOO teams recognise the challenges of localising premium content for worldwide audiences, and we’re thrilled to be able support our client with these,’ said Chief Executive Officer Stuart Green.
