Vodafone partners with Lenovo Connect to up security for customers

ALN

Vodafone Group PLC on Tuesday announced it has formed a partnership with Lenovo Connect to increase connectivity and security for customers across Europe.

The Berkshire, England-based telecommunications company said the partnership will allow customers with Lenovo smart devices to connect to the internet across its global IoT network across many countries.

Vadafone said the service will initially launch in Spain in May this year, with ‘expansion across Europe thereafter.’

Vodafone Business Chief Executive Officer Vinod Kumar said: ‘Our purpose is to help organisations digitally transform their business with a unique level of service and expertise. In collaboration with Lenovo Connect, we will deliver a resilient and customised pan-European service for customers built on fast connectivity and greater privacy and security.’

Lenovo Connect is a subsidiary of Lenovo LCIG.

Vodafone shares were up 0.9% at 101.60 pence each on Tuesday around midday in London.
