Alfa Financial Software Holdings PLC - London-based software developer for auto, equipment and wholesale finance businesses - Barclays says CHP Software & Consulting Ltd completes the sale of 16 million shares in Alfa at a price of £1.35 per share, raising gross proceeds of £22 million. The placing price is a 7.2% discount to Wednesday’s closing price of 145.5p. Following the offering, Andrew Page’s shareholding in Alfa is 55%. Page is executive chair at Alfa, and controls CHP. Alfa Chief Executive Andrew Denton is also a minority shareholder in CHP. CHP will not dispose of further shares in Alfa for at least 90 days. ‘Andrew Page and Andrew Denton remain fully committed to Alfa in their roles as executive chair and chief executive respectively, and their working relationship with the company is unchanged,’ a statement from Barclays said late Wednesday.
