Persimmon appoints outgoing Land Securities COO O’Shea to board

ALN

Persimmon PLC on Monday said it has appointed the outgoing Land Securities Group PLC Chief Operating Officer, Colette O’Shea, to its board.

York-based housebuilder Persimmon said O’Shea will join its board as non-executive director on May 1, after leaving the role of COO at London-based commercial property developer Land Securities at the end of March.

Persimmon Chair Roger Devlin said: ‘Colette has a wealth of property market investment and development expertise gained in a twenty year career with one of the UK’s leading real estate businesses.’

Persimmon shares were 1.8% lower at 1,216.00 pence each in London on Monday afternoon, while Land Securities shares fell 2.7% to 612.60p each.
