Zephyr Energy continues to make progress at State 36-2 well on tests

ALN

Zephyr Energy PLC on Monday said it has finished planning for the State 36-2 well production test, and that all services for the test have been procured.

Zephyr is an oil & gas exploration and development company in the Rocky Mountains in the US.

It has now mobilised a contracted service rig to the well-site, desptite tricky weather conditions in Utah, and operations on the ground have begun.

Workover operations and production testing are expected to take four to six weeks.

As the well is expected to flow from natural fractures, no hydraulic stimulation is expected at this time.

‘I am pleased to announce our continued progress on the State 36-2 well, especially in light of the challenging weather conditions, and I want to thank our operations team for continuing to move the project forward in a safe and effective manner,’ said Chief Executive Colin Harrington.

‘We look forward to the results of the production test, which we expect will provide critical information to help us determine the optimal development programme for the Paradox project.’

Zephyr Energy shares were trading 0.2% lower at 4.79 pence each in London on Monday afternoon.
