IG Group Holdings PLC on Monday said that it has commenced the third tranche of its share buyback programme, worth up to £50 million. IG Group is a London-based contracts-for-difference trading platform. It has entered non-discretionary instructions with Morgan Stanley to conduct the third tranche of the programme. It will begin on Monday, and end on or before August 31. IG previously announced a buyback programme of up to £150 million in July, before declaring a £50 million extension in January. This third tranche takes the total size of the programme up to £200 million. IG shares were trading 0.4% higher at 701.00 pence each in London on Monday morning. Copyright 2023 Alliance News Ltd.
