Angus Energy PLC on Monday said that clean-up operations at Saltfleetby were finished early on the weekend, following which the testing programme at its sidetrack well has progressed ‘satisfactorily’. Angus Energy is an AIM-quoted independent onshore energy transition company. The Saltfleetby gas field is its onshore licence in East Lincolnshire, UK. Under the sidetrack SF07V testing programme, the well flowed at 2.1 million standard cubic feet per day shortly after start up. Over the last few days, flow rates have increased to 4 million. Angus said that, as yet, the rate of increase has been linear with no deviation from pattern. For the months of January through March, gas volumes produced and sold by the firm equalled 5.4 million therms in aggregate, yielding an average of 5.4 million standard cubic feet for daily flow rate. Average daily flows were highest in January, but suffered a little from work on the second compressor in February and March. Peak flow rates from the two wells remained at around 6.0 million throughout the period, while gas condensate production averaged 120 barrels a day, which continues to be ‘somewhat higher than expected’.
