PRESS: YouGov to name Meta executive Steve Hatch as new CEO - Sky

ALN

British polling firm YouGov PLC is set to appoint a former Meta Platforms Inc executive as its new chief executive officer, Sky News reported on Thursday.

Steve Hatch, who served as Meta’s head of northern European operations, will be announced as YouGov’s new CEO potentially as soon as Friday morning, Sky reported.

Hatch had recently announced his intention to leave the Facebook parent company, Sky said.

Last October, YouGov announced plans for its Founder & CEO Stephan Shakespeare to leave his role, and become non-executive chair from August 2023.

He will replace current Chair Roger Parry.

The company said it had begun the search for a new CEO back in October.

Shares in YouGov had closed down 0.5% at 860.00 pence each in London on Thursday.
