Next Fifteen plans name change to Next 15 to reflect ‘evolution’

ALN

Next Fifteen Communications Group PLC on Tuesday said it plans to change its name to Next 15 Group PLC, to better reflect its development as a consultancy.

Next Fifteen said the new name ‘reflects the group’s evolution’ to a growth-focused consultancy from one focused on marketing and communications.

The company said it now has ‘specialist services spanning market research and data analytics to advertising, lead generation, shopper marketing, management consultancy and venture building’.

Next 15’s stock market ticker will change to NFG from NFC following the company name change.

If the change is approved, it will be effective once Companies House issues a certificate of incorporation on the change of name. Next 15 expects this to be issued ‘in the coming days’.

Back in October, the company’s bid to acquire London-based advertising agency M&C Saatchi PLC was rejected. M&C said at the time that over 89% of voters decided against the proposal. The outcome was expected.

Shares in Next Fifteen shares traded 0.4% higher at 826.98 pence each in London on Tuesday morning.
