ImmuPharma PLC - London-based drug discovery and development company - Notes the US Food & Drug Administration has set a date of June 7 for a type-C meeting to provide guidance on the phase 2/3 adaptive study of Lupuzor, or P140, in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, a common type of immune disease lupus. Says this follows the announcement in late March, when it submitted a phase 2/3 clinical trial protocol to the US FDA testing the Lupuzor treatment for lupus patients. Chief Executive Officer Tim McCarthy says: ‘Following on from our announcement last week of the pre-IND meeting with the FDA [...] we are delighted to confirm this meeting date with the FDA on P140 in lupus.
