Corcel completes first tranche of cornerstone investor placing

ALN

Corcel PLC announced on Wednesday that it has achieved its initial fundraising objective, and that shares will be admitted to trading on Thursday.

Corcel, a London-headquartered mining and mineral resource development company, has interests in battery metals such as nickel, cobalt and rare earth elements. It has operations in multiple states including Canada, Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Corcel reported that further to the fundraising announced on March 28, it has now received the initial subscription of £300,000.

Corcel has, as planned, used £100,000 of the amount received to reduce its outstanding debt balance.

The shares will be admitted to trading on Thursday, April 20. Corcel is listed on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange.

Shares in Corcel closed down 4.5% at 0.32 pence each on Wednesday in London.
