Schroder Japan Trust PLC - seeks growth via investing in Japanese stocks - Confirms it has changed its name from Schroder Japan Growth Fund PLC. On Friday last week, it said its net asset value return for the six months ended on January 31 was 5.3%, outperforming the TSE First Section Total Return index of 4.8%. NAV per share as at January 31 amounted to 237.77p, up 3.1% from 230.68p a year prior.It said its share price also produced a positive return of 6.0% during the period. Schroder Japan said its term loan remains fully utilised when the revolving credit facility is undrawn. Looking ahead, it said it enters 2023 in a ‘unique’ position as it ‘lacks many of the widespread challenges to economic growth that face many of its peers’.
