FBD Holdings PLC - Dublin-based insurer - Names Kate Tibin as new chief financial officer and executive director, with effect from January 1, 2024. Tibin is currently chief underwriting officer and a member of the FBD executive management team. Prior to this, Tibin held a number of senior management roles with Zurich Insurance Group AG, both locally and at group level, including chief underwriting officer for Zurich’s general insurance business. In December, CFO John O’Grady announced his intention to retire at the end of 2023. Chair Liam Herlihy says: ‘Kate Tobin is a high calibre new appointment to the board.
