MetalNRG PLC - investor in natural resources and energy - Receives £545,000 from a court settlement, due back from BritNRG Ltd and Brit Energy Holdings LLP. In February, BritNRG and Brit Energy were ordered to pay £1.0 million in pay and damages to MetalNRG. The legal dispute involved MetalNRG’s former executive director for oil and gas Pierpaolo Rocco. Pierpaolo Rocco joined the MetalNRG board as an executive director late in 2019 and resigned two years later. Chief Executive Officer Rolf Gerritsen says: ‘With the final tranche of money now being returned to the company and the successful judgement in Scotland we can begin to see the end of the legal issues we have faced and really start focusing on what is most important to us, and that is driving the company forward’.
